Weight management, be that weight loss or gain, is something that affects most of us at one time or another. It is something that can affect our sense of self esteem and that can sometimes feel impossible to change given the immense amount of conflicting ‘advice’ in the media and the latest approaches that we might try in the hope of losing weight.
As a qualified Personal Trainer and Hypnotherapist, I am able to tell you that weight management is in essence, a simple thing and relates to calorie consumption and not special types of food or food combinations. That said, what is not simple is how, we as human beings respond to the abundance and variety of food in our environment and the neurological conditions of our individual brains in relation to food and the emotional or compulsive connections that can be made in our minds as a result.
Hypnotherapy can be a very effective tool in weight management and can support adherence to a healthier diet that will then result in weight change. I can help you with identifying triggers and cravings and help you to manage or eliminate these and then also to look forward to eating in a way that supports your health and enables you to lose the weight you want to.
