About me

I qualified as a Hypnotherapist in 2012, achieving the Level 4 Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma which is approved by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, of which I am a member.

I have practised as a Hypnotherapist alongside my career as a Teacher and Manager in Further and Higher Education working for a number of prestigious colleges and universities. I love to work with people to help and support them to achieve more than they believed they could, be this in learning or in healing and personal development.

I have always lived in the North West of England, but in the last two years I decided to try something new and went to live in Beijing, helping to set up a new school with a focus on character and wisdom values. This was a wonderful time and we achieved much as a team. While I was in Beijing, I maintained my practice of Hypnotherapy, helping those I worked with to overcome stresses and strains or to gain motivation. I also undertook group guided meditations for students at a large school I for, helping them to face difficult examination periods.

Hypnotherapy is something that I have always been fascinated by – the mind/body/soul connection is one that I feel is beginning to emerge on the fringes of medicine and as a result, Hypnotherapy is now being seen as a viable and effective treatment for many conditions. It is so gratifying to see that this wonderful, gentle approach is being appreciated for a wider audience and I feel very glad to be part of this.

I publish emerging information about the mind/body/soul energy connection on my Facebook page (Halton Hypnotherapy) please join us and find out more!
